WRPD Officers Assist With Plane Crash

On Monday, May 27th at 6:18 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department were dispatched to assist  with a reported plane crash near the Bibb County Line.  Several WRPD officers assisted in the search and were the first on scene.

Officer Casey Mullins helped locate the crash site just north of the Bibb County Line.  Officers Matt Smith and David Adriance provided the fire extinguishers from their patrol vehicles to help put out the fire on the plane.

Lieutenant Don Edwards, officers, and other supervisors from Squad 2 waded through dangerous swamps in their efforts to find the occupants of the plane crash.

We are extremely proud of our officers for their dedication and perseverance during this incident.

Their hard work does not go unnoticed.
