WRPD To Host Virtual Ride Along

You are invited to patrol the streets with an officer from the Warner Robins Police Department -- via Twitter!

The Warner Robins Police Department is hosting a Virtual Ride Along via Twitter on Wednesday, March 19th from 6:00 P.M. to 12:00 A.M.

Public Information Officer Tabitha Clark will be riding with an officer and tweeting calls for service, arrests, and anything else the officer encounters during his shift.  Some tweets will include pictures and videos.

The Virtual Ride Along is designed to give the community a glimpse into the daily life of a police officer patrolling the streets of Warner Robins.  Citizens can view the ride along by following @WarnerRobinsPD on Twitter.

PIO Clark and the officer will be taking questions during the ride along from users who mention @WarnerRobinsPD in their tweet.  They will answer questions as time permits.

The Warner Robins Police Department launched their social media platforms in March and April 2012.  The agency's Facebook has over 5,000 Likes and the Twitter account has over 1,500 followers.
