Location: Houston Lake Road, Watson Boulevard
Officers with the Warner Robins Police Department will be participating in the Special Olympics Torch Run Friday, May 27, 2016 from 6AM until approximately 10AM.
The route will begin with runners and bicyclists departing from the Houston County Courthouse in Perry at 6AM. They will continue northbound onto Houston Lake Road. The participants will be using the far right lane, northbound on Houston Lake Road. Motorists are asked to use caution while driving in the area.
The bicyclists and runners plan to pass the intersection of Houston Lake Road and Feagin Mill Road at approximately 7AM, and will continue to Watson Boulevard.
The route continues eastbound on Watson Boulevard, ending at the Warner Robins Police Department at 100 Watson Boulevard at approximately 10AM. Again, race participants will be occupying the far right lane, eastbound on Watson Boulevard, and motorists in the area are urged to use caution.
