Officers Respond to Person With Gunshot Wound

Date/Time: June 27, 2016/ approximately 4:02PM

Location: 100 block of Bear Lake Drive

At approximately 4:02PM on Monday, June 27, 2016 officers responded to a residence in the 100 block of Bear Lake Drive in reference to a gun shot wound.

This is what we know so far, the female and male living at the residence were involved in a domestic dispute. At some point a gun was fired and struck the male in the leg.

The male was transported to the Medical Center Navicent Health. He was conscious and talking to officers before being transported.

At this time no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Detective Brett Rozier.
