What You Need to Know About the GA Fireworks Law


2016 Fireworks Law Update:

With the Independence Day holiday coming up this weekend, we thought it might be important to share the the most current fireworks laws so everyone would be on the same page. 
See below for information regarding the changes in the fireworks laws this year. Also, click the link below if you would like to read the full bill that went into effect this year. 
You cannot shoot fireworks in a public park, from a public road, or the right of way of a public road. Also, you cannot shoot them in designated "quiet areas" such as near hospitals, nursing homes, jails etc. 
Fireworks CAN be shot on the following dates and times:
Everyday: 10AM-9PM
July 3 and July 4: 9PM-11:59PM
December 31: 9PM-11:59PM
January 1: 9PM-1AM
