Officers Ask For Public's Help In Oxford Lane Shooting

Date/Time: September 4, 2016/ approximately 1:25AM
Location: 200 block of Oxford Lane
UPDATE: Officers are asking the public’s help in finding those responsible in the shooting of 19 year old Deja Turner. We believe there was a large party with around 100 people at the residence at the time of the fight, which led to the shooting. Unfortunately, those in attendance say they didn’t see anything at the time of the incident.

At approximately 1:25AM on Sunday, September 4, 2016 officers responded to a large fight with shots fired outside of a residence on the 200 block of Oxford Lane.
19 year old, female, Deja Turner received a gun shot to the facial area and was transported to the hospital. At this time, her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
