Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 10:15PM Sunday, September 25, 2016 on the 200 block of Carroll Drive.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired and a person down on the 200 block of Carroll Drive at approximately 10:15PM. Once on scene they located 36 year old male, Prentiss Brown in the carport of a residence with a single gunshot wound to the back.
There were reports that several people were around Mr. Brown at the time of the shooting, however all of them fled the scene. Mr. Brown was transported to The Medical Center Naviscent Health for treatment.
