WRPD Announces December Coffee with a Cop

WRPD to host Coffee with a Cop on Dec. 7th

Program offers opportunity to meet local officers, discuss community issues

On Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 8AM to 10AM officers with the Warner Robins Police Department will be available to meet with community members at Starbucks at 2729 Watson Boulevard.

This event will be the last Coffee with a Cop for 2016, and we hope to discuss tips to keep you safe during the holidays.

The Warner Robins Police Department schedules a Coffee with a Cop event at different locations throughout the city in an effort to increase our transparency and involvement in our community.

Coffee with a Cop is an informal event where residents can meet with our officers to discuss community issues, build relationships and drink coffee.

Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by the United States Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. Departments across the country are holding events like this in an effort to make lasting connections with the communities they serve.

The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members, one cup of coffee at a time.

Stay connected with WRPD and all upcoming community events hosted by the department with the Warner Robins PD App.
