Police Identify Pedestrian Killed on N. Davis Drive

Incident: Pedestrian Fatality 
Date/Time of incident: December 2, 2016/ approximately 6:46PM

UPDATE:
The pedestrian has been identified as 64 year old Lorenzo Law. Our investigation has determined Mr. Law was crossing North Davis Drive from east to west when he was struck by 
a 1996 Lincoln Town Car driven by 47 year old Jimmy Lewis Brantley.

Mr. Brantley was traveling North in the left lane of traffic. The Lincoln town car struck Mr. Law and as a result he came to rest in the left southbound lane where he was struck again by a 2001 Acura 3.2TL, driven by 27 year old Quartez Allen. 

Mr. Law was not in a crosswalk at the time he was struck, and was pronounced deceased by EMS on scene.  

At this time no one has been charged, and this incident is still under investigation by the Warner Robins Police Traffic Unit.

Previous News Release: 
At approximately 6:46PM officers responded to a call regarding a pedestrian versus a vehicle on North Davis Drive between King and Melvin. 

At this time the victim appears to be a male in his 60's, and has been tentatively identified. His name will be released after a positive identification has been made and next of kin has been notified. 

The victim was struck by at least two vehicles, both drivers have been identified. The Warner Robins Traffic Unit is still investigating and conducting interviews.
