Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries following a traffic accident involving a school bus.
At approximately 8AM Friday, December 2, 2016 officers responded to a traffic accident involving a school bus at the intersection of Oliver Drive and Burns Drive.
45 year old Eben Hatch was driving a Houston County school bus when it entered the intersection and was struck by a Toyota Corolla driven by 24 year old Lauren Cunrod.
The bus was carrying students from Russell Elementary School.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla, Lauren Cunrod and a female student that was a passenger on the school bus were transported to the Houston Medical Center with minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
