Officers Apprehend Suspicious Person on Feagin Mill Road


Release date: May 9, 2018 

Incident: Suspicious Person/Resisting Arrest/ Assaulting Officers 

Date/Time: May 8, 2018/ approximately 9:20PM 

Location: Intersection of Maplewood and Feagin Mill Road 

At approximately 9:20PM on May 8, 2018 officers responded to a suspicious person call. The callers informed the 911 dispatchers that a white male was running into traffic on Feagin Mill Road. Additional callers also informed dispatchers that the man was performing martial arts and masturbating in the roadway. 

When officers arrived they attempted to get the man out of roadway and place him into custody. Several minutes past as officers tried to safely get the man out of the roadway. At this time the man began to lunge at and assault our officers by grabbing them below the belt. Afterwards a struggle ensued as the officers continued to try to arrest the man. 

Deputies with the Houston County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene. 

Our officers deployed their taser and baton as the man continued to resist officers. The man received a minor injury to the head as he fell to the ground and was transported to the hospital. Doctors found methamphetamine and marijuana in his system. He is currently under a psychological evaluation. 


Two Warner Robins Police Department officers received minor injuries during the incident and received medical attention.
