WRPD Announces 2018 Police Week Events

The Warner Robins Police Department has several events planned for Police Week 2018. #PaintTheTownBlue all week long. 
Saturday, May 12, 2018   
Back the Blue Glow Run 
8PM Opening Ceremony
9PM Race begins
Be advised that at 9PM the east bound lanes on Watson Blvd from Davis Drive to Hwy 247 will be closed. Armed Forces Blvd to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd will be closed and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to Davis Dr. will be closed during the race. 

Monday, May 14, 2018 
Fallen Officers Candlelight Vigil 6PM at Southside Baptist Church. This event is free and open to the public. The community is encouraged to attend. 

Tuesday, May 15, 2018
Law Enforcement Bowling Tournament
Law Enforcement Bass Fishing Tournament from safelight-3PM at Lake Sinclair 

Wednesday, May 16, 2018
Coffee with a Cop from 8AM-10AM at Starbucks Watson Boulevard 
Thursday, May 17, 2018
#PrayForPolice noon at Warner Robins Police Law Enforcement Center.This event is free and open to the public. The community is encouraged to attend. 

Night of Blue Lights 6PM-8PM at the McConnell Talbert Stadium Parking Lot. The event is free and open to the public. The community is encouraged to attend this meet and greet, recruitment fair

Friday, May 18, 2018
Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics begins at 6:30AM at the Houston County Courthouse. Route will travel north on Houston Lake Road then east on Watson Boulevard ending at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center. 

Police Week Golf Tournament 11AM at the International City Golf Course. This event is open to all public safety personnel active and retired. 

BBQ for Blue 11:30AM-1:30PM Law Enforcement Appreciation lunch at the Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home
