On Saturday,
September 1, 2012 officers responded to 219 Ward Street in reference to cruelty
to animals.
Preliminary
investigation supported a witness account that Miranda Delphine Thomas (52
years of age, Warner Robins) beat her dog with a club. The officers observed the dog to have
several visible injuries.
Thomas was
arrested and charged with Cruelty to Animals (Felony). She was transported to the Houston
County Jail.
The Warner Robins
Animal Control Division transported to the dog to a veterinarian to treat his
injuries.
