On Sunday,
September 2, 2012 at 6:30 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department
responded to the 400 block of Camellia Circle in reference to a person with a
gunshot wound.
Preliminary
investigation revealed a confrontation occurred on Wendan Way when Austin
Roberts (17 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot in the back. He ran for help toward the 400 block of
Camellia Circle where police were called.
Roberts was taken
to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was treated and
released.
The investigation
is ongoing.
