On Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 4:58 A.M. officers
of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the intersection of Watson
Blvd and Knodishall Dr in reference to vehicle vs pedestrian collision.
Preliminary investigation revealed Stephen Yeisley (51
years old, Warner Robins) was standing in the outside westbound lane of Watson
Boulevard when a 2007 Dodge Dakota, operated by Helen Gavoe (63 years old,
Warner Robins), was traveling westbound on Watson Boulevard at the same time. The
two collided.
Yeisley was pronounced deceased at the scene by
medical personnel. No other
injuries were reported.
The Warner Robins Police Department Traffic Division
is investigating this incident.
