WRPD Seeking Robbery Suspect

On Friday, December 13, 2013 at 8:00 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 823 North Houston Road in reference to a robbery.

Preliminary investigation revealed a male entered the store, took money out of the cash register, and then ran out of the store.

An undisclosed amount of money was taken.  No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, approximately 6’01” to 6’02” in height, wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.

WR Christmas Parade Traffic Information


The Warner Robins Police Department will be providing traffic management for the 2012 Warner Robins Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 1, 2012.

In an effort to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere, the following traffic enforcement will be in place for the event:


Road Closures:

9:30 A.M. 12:00 P.M. :
Watson Boulevard from Corder Road to North 6th Street will be closed.

Detour Locations:

9:30 A.M. 12:00 P.M. :
Traffic approaching the intersection Watson Boulevard and Corder Road will be rerouted South on Corder Road.

Traffic approaching the intersection of Watson Boulevard and North 6th Street will be rerouted North on North 6th Street.

Please note that vehicles will not be allowed access to the parade route during the hours of 9:30 A.M. to 12:00P.M.

Detour routes will be clearly marked. 

WRPD To Host Virtual Ride-Along



You are invited to patrol the streets with an officer from the Warner Robins Police Department – via Twitter!

The Warner Robins Police Department is holding the first ever “Virtual Ride-Along” via Twitter on Thursday, December 6th from 6:00 P.M. until 2:00 A.M.  

Public Information Officer Tabitha Pugh will be riding with a patrol officer and tweeting calls for service, arrests, and anything else the officer encounters during his shift.  Some tweets will include pictures and videos to give the viewer a more visual experience. 

The “Virtual Ride-Along” is designed to give the community a glimpse into the daily life of a police officer patrolling the streets of Warner Robins.  Citizens can view the ride-along by following @WarnerRobinsPD on Twitter. 

PIO Pugh and the officer will be taking questions during the ride-along from Twitter users who mention @WarnerRobinsPD in their tweet.  They will answer questions as time permits.

The Warner Robins Police Department launched their social media platforms in March and April 2012.  The Facebook account has received over 3,200 “Likes” and our Twitter account has over 470 followers.
