Aggravated Assault

On June 4, 2014 at 8:23 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 124 South 3rd Street in reference to shots fired.

Officers were advised that a male had fired shots at houses and then fled the scene.  The male’s description and vehicle information were given to the responding officers.

Officers located the vehicle in the South Davis Drive area.  A short vehicle pursuit ensued.  The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.  The male was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit.

No injuries were reported.

Thornia Dewayne James (29 years old, Warner Robins) was arrested and charged with:

Aggravated Assault                                        
Criminal Attempt – Armed Robbery
Burglary – 1st Degree                                     
Driving With Suspended License
Fleeing & Attempting to Elude           
Reckless Driving

He was transported to the Houston County jail.

Aggravated Assault

On Monday, April 14, 2014 at 12:35 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 200-blk of Orchard Way in reference to shots fired. 

While enroute officers were advised of a person, Corey Landry (22 years old, Warner Robins), with a gunshot wound at 214 Orchard Way.

Preliminary investigation revealed Landry was standing near the doorway of his residence when he was shot in the right leg.

He was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  His injury does not appear to be life threatening at this time.

Aggravated Assault



On Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 4:44 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 3501 North Highway 41 (24-7 Coin Laundry) in reference to a robbery.

Preliminary investigation revealed a female (35 years old, Warner Robins) was at her car in the parking lot when a male approached her with a gun.  The female retrieved her gun from the glove compartment of the vehicle and then pointed it at the male the same time he pointed his gun at her. 

The male fled to a vehicle with three other males inside of it.  He fired the gun from the vehicle as they were fleeing the parking lot.

Deputies from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office caught up with the car in the area of Arrie Drive.  Two of the four males were taken into custody. 

A short time later, deputies from the Peach County Sheriff’s Office took the other two males into custody in the area of Georgian Walk. 

The suspect’s gun and vehicle were reported stolen from Bibb County. 

No injuries were reported.

Aggravated Assault


On Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 3:49 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 600-blk of McArthur Boulevard in reference to shots fired.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Aeren Ledbetter (19 years old, Centerville), was shot in the face by another male inside the residence.  The male then fled. 

Ledbetter was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  He is in stable condition.

Aggravated Assault


On Monday, November 5, 2012 at 7:17 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 100 Hidden Harbor Drive in reference to a male with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Benjamin Williams (25 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot in the arm after an argument with another male inside a residence.  The male fled the scene.

Williams was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is listed in stable condition.

Arrest Made In Aggravated Battery Incident


On Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 10:47 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 100 block of Sunstede Road in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Antonio Sutton (39 years old, Warner Robins) was lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the lower torso.  Sutton was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is listed in stable condition.

Update – Arrest Made

A continuing investigation led to the arrest of Youncy Laprell Toliver (31 years of age, Warner Robins) in connection with the incident on September 16th at the 100 block of Sunstede Road.

Toliver is charged with Aggravated Battery and Possession Of A Firearm By A Convicted Felon.  He is being held in the Houston County jail. 

The investigation is still ongoing.

Aggravated Assault


On Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 10:47 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 100 block of Sunstede Road in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Aggravated Assault


On Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 6:30 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 400 block of Camellia Circle in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed a confrontation occurred on Wendan Way when Austin Roberts (17 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot in the back.  He ran for help toward the 400 block of Camellia Circle where police were called.

Roberts was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was treated and released. 

The investigation is ongoing.

Assault Incident Turns Into Homicide Investigation



On Monday, June 4, 2012 at 9:19 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 514 North Davis Drive (Pop’s Food Mart) in reference to a fight. 

Preliminary investigation revealed two males were seen fighting inside the store.  One of the males flees the store before officers arrive on scene.  The victim, Dahyalal Amin, (66 years of age, Warner Robins), received head injuries during the altercation.  Amin is employed as a clerk of Pop’s Food Mart.  He was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  He is considered in critical condition. 

The suspect is described only as a black male.  Further description of the male is unavailable. 

The investigation is on going.  More information will be released as it becomes available.

Update – June 8, 2012

Continued investigation lead to the arrest of Howard Allen (67 years of age, Warner Robins).  He is charged with Aggravated Battery in connection with this incident.  Investigators determined he was the one who assaulted Dahyalal Amin.


Allen is in the Houston County jail.  Amin is still in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Update – June 11, 2012

Dahyalal Amin was pronounced deceased on Friday, June 8, 2012.  An autopsy conducted on Monday, June 11th concluded the cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the head and the manner of death to be Homicide. 

The case has been turned over to the Houston County District Attorney’s Office to upgrade Howard Allen’s charge to Felony Murder. 

Allen is still in the Houston County jail.

Arrest Made In Aggravated Assault Incident


On Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 8:24 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 206 Williamsburg Avenue in reference to an assault.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Tracy Smith (34 years of age, Macon), was stabbed several times throughout his body by an unknown person. 

Smith was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment.

Continued investigations lead to the arrest of Isaac Hood (26 years of age, Fort Valley).  He was charged with Aggravated Battery in connection with the above incident.  Investigators determined he was the one who went to the residence and stabbed Tracy Smith.

Hood was transported to the Houston County jail. Smith is still in the hospital for treatment.

On Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 8:24 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 206 Williamsburg Avenue in reference to an assault.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Tracy Smith (34 years of age, Macon), was stabbed several times throughout his body by an unknown person.

Attempting Kidnapping Arrest

On Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 2:07 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 1806 Russell Parkway (Master Cleaners) in reference to a male with a handgun. 

Preliminary investigation reveals a white male approached a female employee, threatened her with a handgun, and fled the scene in a vehicle.  The vehicle is described as a dark colored SUV.   

No injuries were reported.

Update – April 3, 2012

William Carpenter (27 years of age, Macon) was arrested in connection with the incident above.  He was charged with Criminal Attempt-Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, & Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.  He was transported to the Houston County Jail. 

Further investigation revealed Carpenter approached the employee and repeatedly demanded her to get in his car.  She refused and he left the scene in a dark colored Toyota 4 Runner.  Carpenter also pointed a gun at her during the incident.

Aggravated Assault

On Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:40 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 300-block of Camellia Circle in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Tyberius Culler (36 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot by an unknown person while inside a residence on Angela Avenue.  Culler was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is listed in stable condition.
