Involuntary Manslaughter

On Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 4:44 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 210 Southland Station Drive in reference to a male with a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival officers found a 19 year old male with a gunshot wound to the head.  He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

This incident is still an active investigation.  No suspects are being sought at this time.

UPDATE – March 14, 2014

Further investigation by the Warner Robins Police Department Criminal Investigations Division revealed that the victim, Aaron Taylor (19 years old, Elko), was struck by a bullet from a gun that was in the possession of Marcus Dewayne Sallette (19 years old, Warner Robins) inside of the apartment. 

Sallette was arrested and charged with Reckless Conduct and Involuntary Manslaughter in connection with this incident. 


Detectives have determined the shooting was unintentional.  The case will now be turned over to the Houston County District Attorney’s Office for further review.

Aggravated Assault


On Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 3:49 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 600-blk of McArthur Boulevard in reference to shots fired.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Aeren Ledbetter (19 years old, Centerville), was shot in the face by another male inside the residence.  The male then fled. 

Ledbetter was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  He is in stable condition.

Aggravated Assault


On Monday, November 5, 2012 at 7:17 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 100 Hidden Harbor Drive in reference to a male with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Benjamin Williams (25 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot in the arm after an argument with another male inside a residence.  The male fled the scene.

Williams was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is listed in stable condition.

Arrest Made In Aggravated Battery Incident


On Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 10:47 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 100 block of Sunstede Road in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Antonio Sutton (39 years old, Warner Robins) was lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the lower torso.  Sutton was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is listed in stable condition.

Update – Arrest Made

A continuing investigation led to the arrest of Youncy Laprell Toliver (31 years of age, Warner Robins) in connection with the incident on September 16th at the 100 block of Sunstede Road.

Toliver is charged with Aggravated Battery and Possession Of A Firearm By A Convicted Felon.  He is being held in the Houston County jail. 

The investigation is still ongoing.

Aggravated Assault


On Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 6:30 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 400 block of Camellia Circle in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed a confrontation occurred on Wendan Way when Austin Roberts (17 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot in the back.  He ran for help toward the 400 block of Camellia Circle where police were called.

Roberts was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was treated and released. 

The investigation is ongoing.

Homicide Investigation


On Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 10:52 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 101 Woodcrest Circle, Apt 14A, in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, identified as Joel Taylor (25 years old, Warner Robins), was inside his apartment when two black males forced the door open.  One of the males shot Taylor multiple times. 

Taylor was transported to the Houston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Shooting Investigation


On Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:38 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 110 Tanya Place (Briardale Apartments) in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed a male, William Eubanks (22 years old, Perry), was shot once in the pelvic area. 

Further investigation revealed Williams Eubanks and his brother Jeffrey Eubanks (24 years old, Bonaire) were inside an apartment with two other males.  A confrontation occurred and one of the males shot William Eubanks. 

William Eubanks was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is in stable condition. 

This incident is still under investigation.

Homicide Investigation

On Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 8:05 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 906 Crestwood Terrace in reference to a male with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Keith Moses (38 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot once in the chest while inside the residence. Police are seeking four black male suspects that were seen leaving the residence in a white four door car. 

Moses was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he was pronounced deceased at 4:58 A.M.

Burglary Investigation

On Sunday, May 13, 2012 at 9:53 P.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to 1005 Elberta Road in reference to a burglary.  While en route, officers were advised the victim had shot one of the burglary suspects.

Preliminary investigation revealed the victim, Gabriel Duncan (18 years of age, Warner Robins), was inside his apartment when he heard and saw two males enter the apartment by forced entry.  Duncan approached the two males and began shooting at them.  The two males fled the apartment.

A short time later, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the 100-block of Dixie Trail in reference to a male, Justin Gladden (20 years of age, Warner Robins), that had been shot in the back at 1005 Elberta Road.

Gladden was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.  His injuries do not appear to be life threatening. 

The gun Duncan used in the incident had an altered serial number.  He was arrested and charged with Criminal Use of Altered ID Mark.

The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, and approximately two hundred fifty pounds. 

This incident is still under investigation.

Aggravated Assault

On Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 1:40 A.M. officers of the Warner Robins Police Department responded to the 300-block of Camellia Circle in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.

Preliminary investigation revealed Tyberius Culler (36 years of age, Warner Robins) was shot by an unknown person while inside a residence on Angela Avenue.  Culler was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where he is listed in stable condition. 

No other information is available at this time.
